Jimmy McMillan is looking for a VP in his bid for President, and he's got two candidates in mind - Mitt Romney andNewt Gingrich.
The bombastic former gubernatorial wanna-be, whose Rent Is Too Damn Highmantra stole the show during November's state elections last year, says both Republicans would make good No. 2's.
"Newt Gingrich has been there before," he told News Talk Radio 77 WABC's David Goodman, in an interview featured on AOL News. "He is a good liar."
McMillan, 64, went on to call Romney "good looking," adding, "it'll keep the ladies from looking at me."
He said he considered offering the post toJohn Edwards, but "he's unavailable."
The Vietnam vet from Flatbush previously slammed both men, making his suggestion of them as running mate's likely just another attempt to attack theGOP favorites.
In December, when McMillian announced his plan to run for office, he told the online "Revolution Radio" that neither Romney or Gingrich could "sit on a stage and address the issues that concern the American public. Not one of them."
"I can sit here and say how to control the country in 30 seconds, and they can't say it in 30 years," he said.
McMillan's unlikely run for New York state governor ultimately earned him nearly 40,000 votes. His debate performance earned him national headlines, and he was even mocked on "Saturday Night Live."
He has been accused of making anti-Semitic remarks, and despite his Rent Is Too Damn High slogan, admitted to lying about his own rent. McMillian ran for mayor of New York City in 2005, but earned less than 1% of the vote.
