SENATORS LEAVE FOR A FIVE WEEK VACATION, DESPITE 20 JUDICIAL NOMINEES AWAITING CONFIRMATION
The Senate adjourned for its August recess yesterday, despite the fact that 20 judicial nominees were waiting for confirmation votes. Worse, 16 of these 20 nominees were approved unanimously in the Senate Judiciary Committee.
