ATL Security Guard Goes Hard Against Ratchetness And Those Who Would Bring Down Businesses In The Hoods! (Darien Long)

Local Metro Mall Cop Darien Long, has become famous for doing what most people would now consider a real problem in today's Black communities. That would be making those who bring bad attention to us check themselves, or  to say it plainly, he has taken a Hatchet to the Ratchet!

People who see and realize what he is trying to do have offered there support by giving to his cause, in the form almost 20K in donations. See just how serious this man takes his job below, if only people could realize that he is trying to make them see what their actions are doing to not only themselves, but all of us.

If only the cops who have ranging authority would join him in the same way. However, the legal system is not fair to everyone and most cops would certainly go overboard as they have in many cases. Still, this man is on to something.

See Him in Action Below:

The last video is to me is the trouble in just about every hood, the female who is male. Well, that is until you treat them like one. You could also say that most hood mothers don't turn into them until you try to correct their kids or point out that they are destroying someone's property. Notice that in all the other video's the men made threats and talked loud, but women were the ones to actually get physical. The girl actually put her kids at risk here, only to have her senses returned by the stun of a taser!

Also note the black daddy who wants to be a daddy during the frenzy as well. I think I will donate to this dude!

Update: 3/22/2013 Darien Long Arrested: 'Kick Ass' Atlanta Mall Cop Faces Battery Charge

It's been a rough week for Darien Long, the Atlanta mall cop who shot to fame after his videos of stun-gun rife confrontations with patrons went viral.

The so-called "Kick Ass" mall cop was arrested in Atlanta on Thursday night, Fox 5 Atlanta reports. According to police, Long faces battery charges after allegedly tackling a person at the Metro Mall in downtown Atlanta, where he works as property manager.

Police spokesman John Chafee told the station that Long said he'd warned the victim not to return to the mall, but he could not back up his claim.

WSB-TV reports that police reviewed video footage from the mall and determined that Long was the aggressor.

Long appeared before a judge Friday and was granted a $2,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court again April 4, according to a separate Fox 5 Atlanta report.

Earlier this week, Long told news organization Right This Minute that he had lost his job at the mall and that his last day would be March 31.

In a phone interview with The Huffington Post on Thursday afternoon, Long said that although he'd officially been let go because of declining revenues at the mall, he believes there were "political reasons" behind the loss of his job. Long claimed that his videos, which he filmed with a GoPro camera strapped to a bullet proof vest, made the Atlanta police look bad.

"If they get rid of me, the videos stop coming out of that area," Long told HuffPost.

Earlier this year, Long became the beneficiary of a $23,000 crowd-sourced fundraising campaign organized by members of the Reddit social news community after one of his videos went viral. The drive was intended to provide him with the means to buy better gear. As property manager, Long carried a Taser stun gun, firearms and handcuffs on the job.

Long is known for his aggressive attitude toward individuals he thinks are a threat to mall security. While he has his supporters, others think that Long's approach is inappropriate

Timsomor Note:

This is kind of bad, It's like no one got what he was trying to do? Sure you can say close the mall but did anyone  really get what he was trying to do? I listened to Derrick Boazman show today and most people were bad mouthing him. One sister sad what he did to the young lady that got tazed  (featured above) was all his fault and that he should have been punished for it. All I could say is Wow! When was trying to have a safe place to shop and be around your people without all the negative things that can sometime accompany us turn into a bad thing?

I guess those of us who try to make a difference are really alone. This guy may have been the butt of jokes for a lot of people, but I bet he was a big help to others. However, why should some of the black people even care? I actually heard people talking up more for the dealers today than him.

Well, you tried you best Mr. Long, sorry so much of it was lost in the translation of what hood folks respect or don't!
