UPDATE: A Fox Business executive told the Huffington Post that the network's negotiations with Nancy Grace fell through because the HLN anchor kept increasing her salary demands.
"After [Grace's] price and demands continued to escalate, Fox Business decided to walk away," the executive said.
It's unclear if HLN matched those demands in its new contract with Grace.
ORIGINAL POST: Nancy Grace has signed a new, multi-year contract to continue her legal show on HLN, TVNewser reports.
However, TVNewser's Alex Weprin writes, the deal comes only after Grace and her agent had "serious" discussions with Fox Business Network about a move.
She appeared on Fox News a number of times to promote her non-HLN projects. But the talks apparently were for naught. Had they been successful, Fox Business would have poached a second high-profile personality from the CNN family--former CNN host Lou Dobbs announced his signing with the network in November.
