America’s National Security Agency has been collecting information on hundreds of millions of people. Nine major internet companies including Yahoo, Google, Facebook, Skype, Microsoft, YouTube, Apple, AOL and PalTalk have been used by the FBI and National Security Agency to monitor photos, videos and emails.
According to the report, Congress is aware of this top secret program called Prism, but has kept quite about it and it’s violation of privacy of American citizens.
Phone calls of millions of Americans are being traced through Verizon regardless if there is reason to suspect. This operation has been on going since 2006 and renewed every six months. The information handed over by Verizon includes location data, length of phone call, calls being made and the times.
