Stephen Hawking Wins: Katt Williams Sued For ‘Non-Performance’ After Oakland Meltdown (Hey Katt Maybe There Is A God, Then That Would Indeed Imply That You Are Funny, NOT!)

Comedian Katt Williams is being sued for ‘non-performance’ after he cut short an Oakland concert before going on an extended rant that began with a a rambling free-style and ended with him telling a disgruntled ticket-payer and his “bi**h” to “meet him in the back.”

The funnyman and promotion company Live Nation are faced with a class-action suit filed by Brian Herline on behalf of everyone who attended the show, reports TMZ. Herline alleges in the lawsuit filed in Alameda County, California that Williams “confronted a heckler, took his clothes off, and attempted to fight at least three audience members.” The tirade reportedly lasted longer than the 10- minute “performance.”

As previously reported by NewsOne, DeathRow Records founder, Suge Knight, who was on stage with Williams, attempted to get him to stop; when that didn’t work, he picked him up and tried to convince him to calm down. Later on that night, Williams compared himself to Tupac , saying that he didn’t “give a f*ck,” and used his affiliation with the controversial Knight as proof of similarities between himself and the slain Hip-Hop visionary.

Williams was arrested for battery two days before the show in question. In previous months, he was also arrested for violating parole with a gun possession violation and intimidating a witness in an odd tractor incident, among other incidents.

According to Bay area rapper, Too Short, who is a friend of the comedian, he was under the influence of some powerful drugs that can only be gotten in Oakland:

“On the real though that’s my n*gga Katt he’s a personal friend of mine,” Too Short told the audience. “My n*gga is on something, he’s extra loaded. He got too high in Oakland. You ain’t gotta forgive my n*gga, but you do gotta understand. Y’all just as much to blame as he is. That n*gga is sky high. We can’t cover it up… my n*gga loaded. Talk sh*t about it. Go to Twitter, but we still got love for Katt Williams.”

Another man can be heard saying that Williams “underestimated the potency of the Bay cocaine.”

Speaking exclusively with NewsOne on condition of anonymity, a former acquaintance of the comedian reveals that a clinical mental disorder also likely plays a role in his current state:

“Katt was diagnosed as Bipolar I when he was involuntarily checked into a mental institution several years ago. He refuses to take medication and instead uses narcotics which exacerbates the condition. Some mentally ill take out their demons on themselves but Katt projects his pain externally as we’ve seen play out when he goes in on hecklers in his audience. If you know his career trajectory extending all the way back to his room at the Hollywood Casino you’d know he never went “in” on people who came to see his shows – that’s for comedians who don’t have any material.
“Unfortunately Katt no longer has material because he’s in such a dark place he can’t come up with jokes. It speaks to the greed of Live Nation that they would even continue to book him shows being aware of his illness and drug use, and letting him embarrass himself on camera in front of the world. I hope he can find professional help otherwise we will wake up one day to hearing of his death either via suicide or homicide.”

Williams has not issued a comment concerning the lawsuit.
