There are cars that run on gas, electricity, vegetable oil, even human waste, and now there is a car that runs on air.
The AirPod has been created in the UK and runs on compressed air. This CNN videodemonstrates how the three-wheeled, two door, steering wheel-free vehicle zips around. (It is also oddly reminiscent of a car from "The Jetsons," but that was probably not planned.)
Compared to a standard car, the AirPod emits afraction of the pollution, can reach up to 50 mph, and will cost around $10,000. Motor Development International hopes that the AirPod will be the future of urban transportation.
